suMus stands for "sum of muscle activity". It also means "we are" in Latin and is intended to reflect the connection between patients and therapists. Our goal is to create a digital platform that is able to provide accurate, continuous measurement of muscle strength while supporting patients in their training.
Registration for the Videoplattform
To register with the suMus app, the therapist must first create an account and then invite the patients to suMus. This is a prerequisite for registering for the orientation phase and for the individual video introductory talks. Registration for the Orientation Phase
The orientation phase of suMus starts immediately and lasts for a period of 6 months. All participants in this first phase receive tailor-made exercise plans, which are created by the therapists, as well as suMus diaries. With your feedback on the exercises and the diaries, we can continuously improve our exercise catalogue. No smartwatch is needed as the exercise plans can be done with a computer, tablet or smartphone. To participate in the orientation phase and thus in our monthly raffle, you only need to give us regular feedback in the app after your exercises and keep your suMus diary. We offer the possibility of individual introductions with the suMus team, in which we clarify the details of the first phase with you.
These individual video introductions (introduction for all participants in the orientation phase) will take place in the near future for 30 minutes each between 4 and 6 pm. A therapist can also participate with his/her patients at the same time if he/she is caring for more than one affected person for suMus. ATTENTION: A suMus App account (link: https://app.sumus.digital/) is required for the introductory talk. Therefore, please register with the suMus App beforehand so that you have an account for the therapist and the patient. Without an activated account, we cannot send you a link to the introductory talk because we do not have your contact details.
